SPI/FilmBox & UPC Hungary Re-Up Distribution Agreement

SPI/FilmBox has extended its distribution agreement with UPC in Hungary for three more years.

The renewed deal gives UPC Hungary subscribers access to four additional SPI/FilmBox channels: Gametoon HD, FightBox HD, DocuBox HD and Eroxxx HD, the last of which is available in the FilmBox Premium package. FilmBox On Demand, which offers content such as blockbusters and independent movies, documentaries, extreme sports and fight videos, is now available via UPC’s app MyPrime.

Tamás Fülöp, the regional director of operation at SPI/Filmbox for Central and Eastern Europe, said: “We have an established and successful partnership with UPC Hungary. The best part of extending our partnership agreement with UPC is that Hungarian homes will now have a greater selection of FilmBox programs to choose from.”
