ProSiebenSat.1 Establishes New Business Unit VERT

The ProSiebenSat.1 subsidiary Studio71 is launching a new business unit, VERT: The Vertical Content Division.

The name comes from vertical mobile content in 9:16 format, which is commonly used on platforms such as Instagram and Snapchat. VERT will support the implementation of influencer campaigns for all brands looking to present their messages in a high-quality form on platforms like Instagram. This includes developing creative concepts, placing influencers, producing branded entertainment formats and fine-tuning campaigns. VERT aims to bring influencers from the Instagram and blogger sphere such as Erik Scholz and Trixi Giese together with brands.

Eun-Kyung Park, chief digital officer for entertainment at ProSiebenSat.1, said: “Studio71 is already among the world’s leading influencer and creative agencies. With VERT, we will achieve further growth in this segment. Studio71 generates around ten billion video views each month. By making use of new technical features, we are establishing additional distribution channels and continuing the success story of Studio71.”
