Keshet’s Tresor Establishes Scripted Division

The German production company Tresor, which Keshet International (KI) acquired in 2017, is launching a scripted division called Keshet Tresor Fiction.

Keshet Tresor Fiction will focus on developing and producing scripted series and films in Germany and for OTTs. Christina Christ will lead the new team of dedicated drama specialists in the newly created role of director of fiction programs. She joins the company from Bavaria Fiction.

Other new hires include Tina Hechinger, who joins in the role of producer. Hechinger has ten years of development and production experience working with various production companies, including Bavaria Filmproduktion, Bavaria Fiction and Uschi Reich Filmproduktion. In addition, Konstantin Kühnle joins as dramatic adviser from Rat Pack Filmproduktion and Prof Dr Eva Stadler (4 Blocks, Add a Friend) supports the core team as a freelance consultant.

The first project will be KI’s The Baker and the Beauty, having signed a co-production development deal with Constantin Television that will see the two companies develop the romantic comedy for the German market.
