Keshet International (KI) has secured a host of deals across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) from its catalog of scripted and non-scripted formats, as well as finished series, including the buddy comedy Traffic Light.

TV3 (MTG) in Lithuania licensed 140 episodes of Traffic Light to air as a stripped daily comedy Monday through Thursday. In addition, SVOD platform Pickbox, which is available in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia and Montenegro, picked up two seasons of Prisoners of War and the Croatian crime drama The Paper. Public broadcasters RTV in Slovenia and TV Vijesti in Montenegro also acquired The Paper, while the variety game show Who’s on Top? was licensed by Pink for Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro. It is currently in preproduction.

Paula Cohen McHarg, the senior sales manager for CEE, CIS and Africa at Keshet International, said, “KI is becoming increasingly more sensitive to the needs and demands of the CEE content industry—as evidenced in part by our strategic acquisition of The Paper—and I’m pleased to see that our universal formats and high-quality finished shows are even more able than ever to cater to the tastes of the region. Whether it’s laugh-out-loud comedy or gripping drama, we can provide exactly what’s needed to put viewers on the edge of their seats.”
