Deutsche Telekom to Make EntertainTV Available as an OTT Service

Deutsche Telekom is making its EntertainTV service available as an OTT package starting this fall.

The move provides users with the opportunity, for the first time, to enjoy Deutsche Telekom content even if they have another internet provider. Users will then be able to access the EntertainTV OTT package via iOS and Android apps. The timeshift, restart and replay functions will, however, remain reserved for the classic EntertainTV package.

Deutsche Telekom is also extending the diversity of its content by providing direct access to Amazon Prime Video content. In the coming days, EntertainTV customers can access the series and movies available on Amazon Prime Video, including Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and The Grand Tour as well as German productions such as Deutschland 86 and Beat.
