Danish Treatment for Twofour Rights’ Give It a Year

United Productions in Denmark has acquired rights to remake Twofour Rights’ “time travel” format Give It a Year.

In Give It a Year, the host meets with fledgling businesses and then the audience gets to see how those businesses have progressed as the show fast-forwards 12 months. Baroness Karren Brady hosts the U.K. version, which will air on ITV soon.

Additionally, Twofour Rights has secured sales for several finished tapes in its catalog, including Impossible Railways and Lost World of Pompeii, which were picked up by DR in Denmark. Nelonen in Finland snapped up Posh Pawn season four, The World’s Most Expensive Toys and The World’s Most Expensive Presents. SVT in Sweden secured rights to all three seasons of Impossible Engineering, as well as Born to Kill? Class of Evil. Also in Sweden, TV4 scooped up a package that includes Extreme Cake Makers, Compulsive Shoppers and Biggest Hoarders.

Additionally, TV 2 in Denmark acquired rights to air the first season of Extreme Cake MakersThe World’s Most Expensive Presents, Flat Pack Mansions, Hidden Restaurants and season four of Posh Pawn. YLE in Finland picked up 43 hours of content, including two seasons of A Night with My Ex, season one of Indian Dream Hotel, the first season of Indian Dream Hotel on Tour, Strip DateRoyal Marines Commando School and Royal Navy Sailor School.

At MIPTV, Twofour Rights will present a slate that includes both formats and finished tapes. Among the highlights are What Would Your Kid Do?, Weekender, A Night with My Ex, This Time Next Year, The Hotel Inspector and Impossible Engineering.
