New CEO of MTG Sweden

Filippa Wallestam has become the new CEO of MTG Sweden, taking over responsibility for TV3, TV6, TV8 and TV10 together with Viasat, Viafree and MTG’s radio business in the country.

Wallestam joined MTG in 2014 and has held a range of roles, most recently as head of Nordic entertainment operations. As CEO of MTG Sweden, she will continue to develop MTG’s position as a fully integrated broadcasting, digital communication and content production company.

The appointment follows MTG’s announcement that the company will split into two separate businesses: MTG and Nordic Entertainment Group. Wallestam will report to Anders Jensen, who will become president and CEO of Nordic Entertainment Group.
