Production Begins on Norseman Season Two

The Norwegian Viking comedy series Norseman, from the Nordic World catalog, has kicked off production on its second installment.

Norseman is produced by Anders Tangen’s Viafilm (Lilyhammer, DAG). It is being filmed simultaneously in Norwegian and English for the international market. Anders and series scriptwriters Jon Iver Helgaker and Jonas Torgersen are at MIPCOM this week to promote the show.

Norseman is co-produced with Norwegian pubcaster NRK. The sophomore season is slated for delivery next year. The first installment is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
