Channel 4 Moves Davina McCall-Hosted The £100K Drop to Daytime

Channel 4 Daytime has commissioned a bumper 60 episodes of The £100K Drop from Remarkable Television, part of Endemol Shine Group.

Presented by Davina McCall, The £100K Drop, formerly The Million Pound Drop, will air on Channel 4 in 2018 in an afternoon slot. In each episode, a pair of contestants begins with £100,000. They’ll have to give the correct answer to seven questions in order to take home all of the money. If they’re wrong, the cash drops through the floor in front of their eyes.

McCall said, “I literally love hosting this show and couldn’t be more thrilled that we are back and coming to daytime! £100,000 is a properly life-changing amount of cash and I’m crossing my fingers for some big money wins. I can’t wait to see you all every weekday afternoon.”
