Virgin Media Adds Talking Pictures TV

The Talking Pictures TV free-to-air movie channel is becoming available on the Virgin Media platform in the U.K.

Talking Pictures TV is dedicated to classic British cinema. The network first launched in May 2015 and is offered on Freeview, Sky, Youview and Freesat. It is launching on Virgin tomorrow, which means that the channel will be carried on every digital platform in the U.K., as well as being simulcast on eight local TV stations.

Sarah Cronin-Stanley, Talking Pictures TV’s chief executive, stated: “I’m delighted we are now available across all platforms. Our viewers are passionate about the channel and haven’t been shy in telling Virgin Media how much they’d like to see Talking Pictures TV on the platform, so it’s great for them and us that we now are.”
