SPI’s FunBox UHD Rolls Out on Vodafone in Spain

SPI International/FilmBox has launched the native Ultra HD channel FunBox UHD on Vodafone TV in Spain.

FunBox UHD airs programs such as the cinematic opera La Boheme and The Sea Chef, which is hosted by two Michelin-starred chef Ángel León and takes viewers around the Spanish coast. The channel is currently available on a number of DTH platforms, IPTVs and OTT services in Portugal, Germany, Turkey, Luxembourg, Romania, the Netherlands and Qatar.

“SPI is focusing on making as much native Ultra HD content as possible available via this channel, and we are only showing those programs that have a high production value and can deliver outstanding visual highlights for the viewers,” said Raymond Van Der Vliet, the director of distribution in Western Europe for SPI International.
