BBC Worldwide Ups Salim Mukaddam to CEE Role

LONDON: Salim Mukaddam has been elevated to the role of general manager and VP for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) at BBC Worldwide.

Mukaddam will now be responsible for content sales, formats and channels for the business across the CEE region. He will also play a key role in CEMA’s management team for the BBC. Mukaddam formerly served as director of music in the content division for the BBC’s commercial arm.

Grant Welland, the executive VP for CEMA, made the appointment. He commented: “I’m looking forward to seeing Salim bring his entrepreneurial spirit and passion to our operations in CEE. We’re delighted to have him on board for such a key role within the management team at CEMA.”

Mukaddam added: “I’m really looking forward to joining an already outstanding team to deliver on the huge growth opportunities for our business across Central and Eastern Europe and continuing to build on CEMA’s success for the future. I am particularly looking forward to meeting our valued clients in the region and exploring how we can better serve their needs.”
