French OTT Service Molotov Makes Its Debut

PARIS: Molotov, an OTT service created by the French media veterans Jean-David Blanc, Pierre Lescure and Jean-Marc Denoual, has officially launched in France.

The free service offers 33 channels, including 25 channels of the French DTT, and ten hours of bookmarks. Users can opt to spend €3.99 per month for 100 hours of additional bookmarks to record shows or €9.99 for more than 70 HD channels, up to four simultaneous streams and 100 hours of bookmarks.

Molotov is available for smartphones, tablets, Apple TV, connected TVs and computers.

In its launch announcement, the company said it aims to “reinvent the daily pleasure of watching television.”
