SPI’s FunBox 4K/UHD Channel Rolls Out in Luxembourg

WARSAW: SPI International’s FunBox 4K/UHD channel has launched in Luxembourg on PostTV.

FunBox 4K/UHD is available to PostTV viewers as part of the basic tier. The channel airs a selection of 4K documentaries, performing arts programming, extreme adventure content, movies and TV series. The 4K viewing experience will be enhanced through N7900, a new set-top box from Netgem that telco POST Luxembourg launched. POST Luxembourg already offers SPI channels such as 360 Tunebox HD, FilmBox Arthouse, DocuBox HD, FightBox HD, Fast&FunBox HD, FilmBox Arthouse and Eroxxx HD.

Berk Uziyel, the executive director of SPI International/FilmBox, stated, “SPI is focusing on making as much native 4K content as possible available via this channel, and we are only showing those programs that have a high production value and can deliver outstanding visual highlights for viewers.”

Sven Breckler, the product manager for TV at POST, remarked: “We are happy to have FunBox 4K/UHD, one of the best 4K channels, available for the launch in our network. We are the first TV operator in Luxembourg which will make 4K available to its customers.”
