James Baker Promoted to President of Red Arrow Entertainment Group

MUNICH: James Baker has been given an expanded role as president of Red Arrow Entertainment Group.

Baker was recently managing director for Red Arrow UK and global scripted strategy. He continues to report to Red Arrow’s chairman and CEO, Jan Frouman, and assumes increased responsibility for managing the group’s global production operations, strategic initiatives and expansion plans. Baker also remains directly responsible for Red Arrow’s U.K.-based businesses and global scripted strategy.

Frouman, member of the executive board at ProSiebenSat.1 Media, said: “Once again, I need to speak glowingly about James Baker. Arguably the most irritating part is that it’s all true! He’s an outstanding exec who always puts the interests of the group first and relentlessly pushes us to do better. Given recent organizational changes and the rapid growth of our portfolio, we have to find ways to increase our management bandwidth and efficiency. Elevating James was an obvious choice.”
