CANAL+ & beIN SPORTS Sign Exclusive Deal

PARIS: CANAL+ and beIN SPORTS have initiated discussions to establish a partnership that would result in an exclusive distribution agreement.

Under this deal, all beIN SPORTS channels in France would be available through CANAL+ offers exclusively. It would cover a five-year period. CANAL+ and beIN SPORTS, which would both retain their identities, brands and editorial autonomy, would continue to respond independently to sports rights tenders.

The agreement is subject to approval by relevant authorities, notably the French Competition Authority.
