Head of FOX Sweden Promoted to Nordic Acquisitions Post at FIC

STOCKHOLM: FOX International Channels (FIC) has elevated Clara Scherman, the head of FOX in Sweden, to senior director of Nordic acquisitions.

Scherman adds the new responsibility to her current remit. In addition to leading development of FOX Sweden, Scherman will be responsible for content acquisitions across all FOX channels in the Nordic region. She will continue to be based in Sweden, reporting to Ase Ytreland, the managing director for FIC Nordic.

Ytreland said: “With FOX channels in Norway, Sweden and Finland we are investing significantly. Our content investments range from our FIC global productions to third-party acquisitions and also local productions in Finland. Clara is highly experienced and respected in the market; it makes sense to benefit from her expertise across the region as a whole.”

“With the aim of bringing our viewers distinctive, breakthrough content first on FOX, I will be working with FIC teams and content providers in the Nordic region as well as the U.K. and the U.S.,” said Scherman. “I am very much looking forward to the expanded role.”
