ORF-Enterprise Sells Factual Content & More at German Screenings

LEIPZIG: At this year's German Screenings, ORF-Enterprise sold a variety of programming, including several Universum nature and wildlife docs, to broadcasters around the globe.

Universum's Making an Ancient Forest: Kalkalpen National Park, Dolomites: In the Heroes' Garden and Waterland Warriors: The Beavers Are Back are headed to RAI in Italy and SRF in Switzerland. RAI also went for the Emmy-nominated Africa's Wild West: Stallions of the Namib Desert. Universum titles snapped up by RAI Bozen include Dolomites: In the Heroes' Garden, Lost City of the Gladiators and Garden Wild!

RCS-RDS is licensing 100 hours from ORF's factual catalogue for broadcast in Romania. Over in France, Ushuaia went for Universum's Zambezi: The Thundering River. HRT in Croatia picked up the docs Gingerbread Journeys and Voices of Transition, while Switzerland's RTS and France's Histoire took the historical documentary Occupation Children.

The ORF Fiction TV movies Irene's Dark Secret and Father's Day are headed to RAI Bozen. GlobalStar signed up for the romantic television series White Beauty as well as a selection of folk music clips. The fiction specials Shooting Star and The Art of War were licensed by RTV in Slovenia and TV2 in Denmark.
