MUNICH: Next month in Cannes, Red Arrow International plans to present a variety of formats and scripted series, including the new espionage thriller The Romeo Section.

CBC Canada's The Romeo Section comes from acclaimed showrunner Chris Haddock (Boardwalk Empire). Other scripted titles from the Red Arrow catalogue include Cleverman, a genre drama for ABC Australia and SundanceTV starring Iain Glen (Game of Thrones) and Frances O'Connor (The Missing); the ITV event movie Peter & Wendy, featuring Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games), Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad) and singer Paloma Faith; and Donny!, a new satirical comedy for USA Network led by real-life ad exec Donny Deutsch. The company is also promoting new seasons of Amazon's Bosch and SAT.1's Einstein.

"Red Arrow International is increasingly becoming a home for ambitious, international drama," said Henrik Pabst, the managing director of Red Arrow International. "Our aim is to work with the most creative people in our industry, people who share our passion for storytelling and desire to see great drama travel the world."

Red Arrow's format highlights include Diet Wars, a weight-loss reality show for ABC in the U.S.; the dating experiment Kiss Bang Love, a ProSieben Germany commission from the creators of Married at First Sight; BBC One's social experiment The Day the Cash Came; and Safeword, a comedy panel show for ITV.

"MIPCOM sees us bringing a tremendously diverse range of formats to the market," noted Pabst. "Our formats slate at MIPCOM highlights our commitment to working with some of the world's top creative talent across entertainment, reality and comedy."

Pabst added: "We are delighted to be launching this compelling, high-quality and truly international slate of scripted and formatted shows at MIPCOM. There is growing demand for a wide mix of genres and we believe that with this new lineup, from genre drama to spy thriller to crime, from real-life reality to dating experiments to comedy, Red Arrow has got it covered."
