HELSINKI: Yellow Film & TV producer Anna Hallenberg has been lined up to become the creative director of ITV Studios Finland, effective September 21.

In her new role, Hallenberg will work under Aram Aflatuni, the CEO of ITV Studios Finland. She will be charged with developing new programming and working as an executive producer. Her previous credits include I Know What You Did Last Friday (Yellow Film & TV for Nelonen), The Apprentice (FremantleMedia for MTV3) and Big Brother Extra (Metronome for Sub).

Meanwhile, Heli Koskela, who previously oversaw development at ITV Studios Finland, has been appointed to the newly created position of head of entertainment.

Hallenberg said: "ITV Studios Finland has the potential for remarkable growth due to the rapidly expanding format slate of ITV Studios. I feel privileged to get the opportunity to draw on my own experience in localizing these internationally proven shows for a Finnish audience."

Aflatuni noted: "I am confident that Anna and Heli's extensive experience in developing and producing successful original and international formats will take us to the next level in producing entertainment shows."

Hans Engholm, the CEO of ITV Studios Nordic, added: "ITV Studios Finland has already shown its capability to produce strong original formats like Bargain Battle as well as local versions of ITV Studios' hit international formats like Big Star's Little Star, which was recently recommissioned for a second series in Finland by TV5. This appointment will enable ITV Studios Finland to continue to grow its slate of entertainment programs."
