CANAL+ Scoops Up More HBO Series for SVOD

PARIS: CANALPLAY has acquired the SVOD rights for a slew of classic HBO series, among them Band of Brothers and Sex & the City.

The CANAL+ SVOD service previously licensed the cult series The Wire and seasons one and two of Strike Back from HBO. Now, Band of Brothers and The Pacific are joining the lineup as of February 27. This will be followed by the additions of complete box sets of Sex & the City, In Treatment, Treme and Hung. A third season of Strike Back is also part of the pact.
