LEONINE Studios has signed an output deal with Asbury Park Pictures, securing exclusive German-language rights to its entire slate.

The first title to go into production is the new action-thriller Black Site, with shooting to commence in February in Australia. The screenplay by Jinder Ho will be directed by Sophia Banks. The movie is a cat-and-mouse game between a group of CIA agents and the equally brilliant and notorious inmate, Hatchet, in the maximum-security wing of a top-secret prison. Jason Clarke, Michelle Monaghan and Jai Courtney star.

Fred Kogel, CEO of LEONINE Studios, said: “The demand for great action thrillers is enormous, so we want to offer our partners and viewers just that. We are already working successfully on the John Wick-franchise with Basil Iwanyk and by signing with his new studio Asbury Park Pictures, we’re securing a slate of top-notch action titles from successful producers who have produced groundbreaking mega-hits in this genre.”
