BSkyB to Own Up to 69 Percent of Sky Deutschland

LONDON: BSkyB has said that it will own at least 69 percent of Sky Deutschland once the takeover period closes, after more minority investors than originally expected signed up for the offer.

In June, BSkyB paid $9 billion for Sky Italia and a 57 percent share in Sky Deutschland. BSkyB's German stake will now increase, since it offered minority investors a buyout of their shares, and more than expected decided to take the offer.
