PARIS/WARSAW: CANAL+ Group and ITI Group have said they are considering offloading their 51-percent stake in Poland's TVN Group.

In a joint statement, CANAL+ and ITI said they have received approaches over the last several months about the sale of their TVN stake.

"Both the ITI Group and CANAL+ Group remain under any scenario fully committed to the high performance TVN investment," the statement said. "Should the current strategic review not result in a transaction, the existing arrangements will remain in place."

Whatever happens with TVN, CANAL+ says it will retain its "strong footprint" in Poland, where it operates the nc+ pay-TV platform. TVN owns a 32-percent stake of the pay-TV service.
