Comarex & Onza Partners Form Comarex España

CANNES: The Spanish business group Onza Partners and Comarex have entered into a joint venture for the creation of Comarex España, targeting the Spanish market.

The JV will merge Onza and Comarex's respective strengths to produce a range of Comarex formats and to develop original content for production in Spain. Onza's main partners are Jose Maria Irisarri, who founded Vertice 360º, Notro Films and Globomedia, and Gonzalo Sagardia, who was the international director at 7yAccion, producer of the hit show El Hormiguero and director of the Mexican television channel Vertice DocuTV.

Irisarri, the chairman and partner of Onza Partners, said, “With many years of experience in the TV industry we are delighted to have gained such a reputable partner as Comarex. With this joint venture we look forward to leveraging on Comarex’s in-depth understanding, professional capabilities, expertise and create new opportunities and great programs for both the Spanish and international market.”
