Ruth Martínez Joins Shine Iberia as Head of Acquisitions

MADRID: Shine Iberia has hired Ruth Martínez, who joins from Boomerang TV, as its new head of acquisitions.

Previously, Martínez was the head of acquisitions and sales in the international department at Boomerang TV. Before this, she was the commercial manager at 3Koma. She was previously director of TV shows such as Préstame tu vida (TVE, 2005-06) and Esta es mi gente (ETB and Telemadrid) and TV host of several ETB shows between 1998 and 2003.

At Shine Iberia, Martínez will be selecting and adding new titles to the catalogue. Shine Iberia is the production arm of Shine Group in Spain and Portugal. Some of the company's successes include MasterChef, Vale Todo, Me Resbala and The Voice Portugal.
