Red Arrow’s Jens Richter to Join FremantleMedia International

LONDON: Jens Richter is set to join FremantleMedia International as chief executive following the end of his contract with Red Arrow International, where he serves as managing director.

Richter has been running Red Arrow International, formerly known as SevenOne International, since 2004. He will be relocating from Munich to London to take on the chief executive role at FremantleMedia International. The post was previously held by David Ellender, who left the company in July after a 12-year tenure.

FremantleMedia International gave World Screen Newsflash the following statement about the hire: "We can confirm that Jens Richter will be joining FremantleMedia to take up the position of CEO of FremantleMedia International. Jens is an outstanding and dynamic executive with extensive knowledge and experience of the international distribution market and we are really excited to welcome him to the team. Jens will be joining us when he completes his contract with Red Arrow. In the meantime, our talented team of regional executive VPs, made up of Jamie Lynn, Lisa Honig and Paul Ridley, will continue to run the day-to-day sales business with oversight from FremantleMedia International's COO, Bob McCourt."
