Two New Execs Appointed to Talpa Board

HILVERSUM: Shashi Baboeram Panday and Barry Masclee have joined the Talpa Holding executive board as chief financial officer and chief corporate officer, respectively.

Baboeram Panday, who had been acting as interim CFO since July, is replacing Mark Ramakers. He became a concern controller for Talpa in 2007. Earlier in his career he was an accountant for Deloitte.

Masclee, who is filling a newly created post, has worked in legal and tax affairs, corporate development, M&A and human resources. Before being hired by Talpa when the company was formed, he was a group tax manager for Endemol.

Baboeram Panday and Masclee take their places on the Talpa Holding executive board alongside John De Mol, founder and owner, and Pim Schmitz, CEO. The group is charged with the supervision of Talpa Media, Talpa Radio and Talpa Music.
