MIPCOM Spotlight: ATV

CANNES: ATV will be presenting buyers with Tatar Ramazan, the story of a man who seeks justice.

At last year’s MIPCOM, ATV set its sights on penetrating Southeast Asia, Northeastern Europe and Latin America. The company managed to achieve these goals, says Ziyad Varol, ATV’s head of sales, and has also entered Ukraine, Georgia, Pakistan and Slovakia with its programming. This time around, Varol says that ATV is eyeing prospects in the U.S. and some Western European countries.

ATV introduced Peace Street at MIPCOM 2012, and the series now has a new season. “Fugitive is our latest release, with huge expectations from Turkish audiences,” says Varol. Gurkan Uygun, who was in Valley of the Wolves for ten seasons, stars in Fugitive.
