Shine TV Gets New MD

LONDON: Kelly Webb-Lamb has been elevated to the role of managing director for Shine TV.

For the last 18 months, Webb-Lamb has been serving as creative director for Shine TV. She originally joined the company in March 2012 from her role as director of factual programs at Princess Productions as part of a re-structure of Shine Group production companies.

Henrietta Conrad, the chief executive of Shine TV and Princess Productions, said: “Kelly has done an exceptional job in delivering brilliant popular factual programmes to a range of broadcasters over the last 18 months and has a bulging development slate which promises so much going into next year. It is credit to her that Shine TV is in such great shape, the promotion is richly deserved and I look forward to continuing to work with her.”

Webb-Lamb said: “I am really proud of what we have achieved at Shine TV in the past 18 months. We are in a good place with programs in production for all of the major broadcasters, and more to come. I've got a fantastic team around me and together we are going to continue to grow the company and to have fun as we do it.  I am delighted to be taking up the mantle of MD and am really looking forward to what the future will bring.”
