BoPaul Media Sells Blood and Sand into Russia

LOS ANGELES: BoPaul Media Worldwide has licensed the film Blood and Sand, starring Sharon Stone, to the Russian distributor Big Movie.

BoPaul Media acquired the title in a package deal with Spain’s Jose Frade Producciones. The film, from 1989, stars Stone as a rich American socialite who falls in love with a matador. The film was released prior to Stone’s breakout in Basic Instinct. BoPaul Media has the worldwide rights, excluding Spain, to exploit the film across all media. The company will be ready for discussions on Blood and Sand with buyers at MIPTV.
