Tim Robinson Upped to COO of Shine Group

LONDON: Tim Robinson, who currently serves as the COO of Shine Australia, has been promoted to the COO role at Shine Group, relocating to London to take up the post in early 2013. 

In his new role, Robinson will report to Alex Mahon, the CEO of Shine Group who previously held the COO title before being promoted earlier this year. 

Chris Fry, Shine Group’s head of finance, operational investment and corporate development, is headed to Shine Australia in the role of head of business and finance strategy for the region. 

Mahon said: “Tim is an outstanding commercial executive with experience in, and an aptitude for, every aspect of Shine’s business. We are delighted that after a hugely productive two years with Shine Australia that these skills will now be deployed again across the whole group as we move into our next phase of growth. In a similar vein, Chris’ knowledge and insight will be of great value to the team at Shine Australia and we are all excited that he is making the move to join them.”

Robinson added: “After two great years in Sydney, I am sorry to be saying goodbye to the world class team of people at Shine Australia. The opportunity to return to Shine Group at this point is irresistible though and, alongside Alex and her highly talented team, I cannot wait to play a leading role in the future growth and evolution of all the Group’s businesses."
