ORF-Enterprise Reports Strong Business in CEE

BUDAPEST: ORF-Enterprise has concluded a number of deals with broadcasters from across Central and Eastern Europe, including the sale of a package of 50 hours of natural-history programming into Hungary.

MTVA Hungary picked up 50-plus hours for Duna to air in 2012 and 2013. Another package, of around 160 hours, is headed to Romania and Hungary.

Outside of CEE, ORF-Enterprise firmed up an agreement with Da Vinci Learning Channels in Southeast Asia for more than 100 hours of content. The package included Trick Factory, Explorer Express, 7 Wonders and Quiz Castle, among others.

Following its attendance at NATPE Budapest, ORF-Enterprise reports strong interest from the CEE region for the dating series Lonely Hearts Club and the quiz show Champion. Lottosieger, The Line and Taxi Orange were also said to be popular among the buyers at the market.
