Endemol Makes New Appointments to Management Board

LONDON: Tim Hincks, the CEO of Endemol UK, has become the president of the Endemol Group, while Virginie Calmels, the chairman and CEO of Endemol France, takes on the role of COO for the group.

Hincks was named CEO of Endemol UK in 2008. He became a member of Endemol’s International Board later that year. In his new post, Hincks will be responsible for the oversight of the company’s operations in the U.S. and U.K. He is tasked with building the collaboration and synergy between these two key markets. He will also focus on the creation and commercial exploitation of content across the group’s worldwide network. Hincks remains with Endemol UK as its chairman.

Calmels became the chairman and CEO of Endemol France in 2007, also becoming a member of its International Board. She now takes over as COO of the Endemol Group, responsible for overseeing operations in 12 European territories, including France. She will work to enhance the group’s efficiency. Calmels continues responsibility for Endemol France as its chairman.

Both Hincks and Calmels report to Just Spee, the recently installed CEO of Endemol Group.
