Beyond Scores Deals in Europe

SYDNEY: Beyond Distribution has secured sales in Sweden and Holland for 50 hours of programming, in addition to 90 hours sold into Belgium.

The Swedish pubcaster SVT licensed two seasons of The Will: Family Secrets Revealed, alongside Damage Control, I Don’t Have Time For This and Riverdance: Today’s Stars. Also in Sweden, TV4 picked up Serious Crash Unit and Highway Patrol. Zapp in the Netherlands opted for Dick ‘n’ Dom Go Wild!, while Highway Patrol season three was picked up by SBS. In a package totalling more than 90 hours of lifestyle and factual programming, VMMA in Belgium signed up The Property Shop seasons two and three, Maxed Out seasons three, four and five, and The Zoo seasons one through 11, as well as several titles from Puppetry of the Penis.

Karen Connell, the VP of sales at Beyond Distribution, said, “We’ve enjoyed a great deal of success in Benelux in particular this year. Traditionally our lifestyle and factual entertainment titles have sold well into these territories but finalizing our first deal with NPO/Zapp is a very exciting result.”
