Keshet International has sold the new NBC fall series The Brave to HBO Asia and TVNZ in New Zealand.

The deal with HBO Asia sees the drama available across 18 territories on HBO Asia’s network of channels. Produced by Universal Television and Keshet Studios, The Brave features a journey into the complex world of elite undercover military heroes.

The series is executive produced by writer-creator Dean Georgaris (The Manchurian Candidate), Matt Corman and Chris Ord, along with Keshet’s Avi Nir, Alon Struzman, Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan. Keshet International shares global licensing rights for the series with NBCUniversal International Distribution.

“Demand is high from international buyers for a series generating the kind of heat we have seen this year for The Brave,” said Keren Shahar, COO and president of distribution for Keshet International. “Its stellar cast and high production values, combined with diverse storylines and locations set around the world, set this compelling work apart. It truly has become a standout in the global marketplace.”
