Kanal D Drama Unveils “Hot Summer” Lineup

The Canal+ Group company THEMA América is set to launch “Hot Summer,” a selection of premieres of popular Turkish series on Kanal D Drama.

The selected Turkish dramas, presented entirely in Spanish, will make their debut on Kanal D Drama, Xfinity and Xfinity On Demand this summer. Secretos and Más Allá de las Nubes are slated to premiere in June, with El precio del Amor bowing in July followed by Así es la vida in August.

The miniseries Secretos centers on Kemal (Kaan Tasaner), who along with his wife hires an ex-police officer to investigate the kidnapping of their son, with the case taking a complicated turn. Más Allá de las Nubes follows Mayor Aslan Bulut Ünal and his family, whose lives are turned upside down by the arrival of a doctor in the village, who tries to save a fragile young woman named Narin from the dangerous Mustafa.

El precio del Amor tells the story of Azra Özak, an ambitious young tennis trainer, who is working at an exclusive athletic club with her boyfriend when they meet the young millionaire Şebnem Vural, who is secretly battling leukemia. In Así es la vida, doctors and other health personnel in a private hospital learn that the hospital is about to go bankrupt, leading many of the doctors to resign en masse, causing chaos.
