STOCKHOLM: Eccho Rights has signed an agreement with Macedonia’s Kanal 5 for the Hungarian thriller series Stone in the River.

Stone in the River centers on a tourist boat with 116 people on board that disappeared from a river near Chernobyl at the time of the nuclear disaster. Ivan Mircevski, the general manager at Kanal 5, remarked: “Stone in the River fits nicely into our upcoming schedule. We were drawn to the look of the show and the high production values really shine through. This, coupled with the pace of the story line, is going to be a great draw to our viewers.”
