Turkey’s Kanal D & Chile’s Mega in Volume Deal

ISTANBUL: Kanal D has licensed a package of Turkish series, including Wounded Love, to the Chilean network Mega.

Wounded Love, which features the Turkish power couple Halit Ergenç and Bergüzar Korel, is headed to Mega alongside Time Goes By, set in 1960s Istanbul. Mega also relicensed Fatmagül.

Prior to this volume deal, Mega had already picked up Kanal D’s Gümüş, Love, Waiting for the Sun, Leaf Cast and Bidding Farewell. In all, Kanal D has licensed some 1,200 commercial hours to Mega.

Wounded Love has previously sold across LatAm, with deals in Argentina (Telefe), Peru (America TV) and Uruguay (Monte Carlo). In addition to Latin America, Wounded Love has been licensed into Macedonia, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, Moldova, Poland and MENA countries.

Additionally, TV Azteca in Mexico acquired Kuzey Guney. The series has aired in Chile on Canal 13, which also acquired the dramas Forbidden Love and Secrets.
