Eccho Rights has closed new deals for hit dramas from OGM Pictures, including Golden Boy, in Spain and Chile.

Atresmedia picked up Golden Boy for Spanish viewers, while Mega acquired the series for Chile. The drama follows sisters Seyran and Suna, whose lives are changed forever when golden boy Ferit decides to marry one instead of the other.

Mega in Chile also picked up OGM’s Chrysalis, which tells the story of Nalan, a young woman full of hope who seeks happiness and love in a world that presents her with difficulties at every turn.

Golden Boy is a hugely exciting title, and we can’t wait to bring it to our viewers in Spain,” said José Antonio Salso, head of acquisitions and international sales at Atresmedia. “We are dedicated to bringing only the best premium dramas to our channels, and Golden Boy is without a doubt the top title from Turkey this season.”

Manuela Velasco, head of acquisitions at Mega said, “At Mega, we are proud of our position as leading broadcasters of Turkish series in the LatAm region, and we are delighted to add two more premium titles that will bring many moments of unmissable drama to our audiences.”

Golden Boy has been an astonishing success, with ratings exceeding anything we’ve seen for years in Turkey,” said Barbora Suster, head of Latin America and Iberia at Eccho Rights. “Meanwhile, Chrysalis has been consistently at the top of the viewing charts across three seasons and more than 60 weeks of broadcast. We are excited to see these titles continue to flourish throughout the Spanish-speaking world.”
