Eccho Rights Secures New LatAm Sales

Eccho Rights has secured broadcast deals for the drama series I Am Mother (Sandık Kokusu) across LatAm.

The series was acquired by Record TV in Brazil, alongside new sales to Telemicro in the Dominican Republic, Venevision in Venezuela and Canal 5 in Honduras.

I Am Mother was produced by O3 Medya and originally commissioned by Show TV in Türkiye.

“I Am Mother continues to connect strongly with broadcasters across Latin America, where there is a clear appetite for emotionally rich, character-led storytelling,” said Barbora Suster, head of sales for LatAm at Eccho Rights. “These new deals, particularly with a major network like Record TV in Brazil, underline the series’ broad appeal and its ability to perform across very different markets in the region.”

The series stars Özge Özpirinçci, Demet Akbağ, Metin Akdülger, Engin Öztürk and Nesrin Cavadzade. I Am Mother follows Karsu, whose life is shattered when her son goes missing during a journey to Istanbul. Years later, a chance encounter offers hope of reunion, but forces Karsu to confront the emotional cost of the past.
