ATF & Mediacorp Launch Drama & Co-Production Pitch

RX, organizer of Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF), has revealed the first-ever ATF x Mediacorp Drama Concepts & Co-Production Pitch, which is now open for submissions.

Co-organized by Mediacorp, the initiative invites creatives and production companies from around the world to pitch their ideas at ATF 2024. The winner will walk away with $10,000 and an opportunity to work with Mediacorp to bring their concepts to the screen.

From now until October 15, scriptwriters and production companies are invited to submit their concepts in the genre of drama, after which selected finalists will be invited to present their proposals to a panel of industry experts at ATF 2024, to be held from December 3 to 6. Of these, the best three will be awarded a cash prize of $10,000 and may be offered an opportunity to collaborate with Mediacorp to co-produce or co-develop a new drama.

Virginia Lim, chief content officer at Mediacorp, said, “We invite all interested parties to submit their applications and look forward to working together to create exceptional dramas for a global audience. Through this open call, we hope to connect with creative talents and companies from Asia and beyond to collaborate on fresh new drama concepts.”

Hui Leng Yeow, group project director at ATF, said, “In line with industry needs, ATF has been very supportive of initiatives to garner original IPs via pitches and accelerator programs across the region and beyond. This is in tandem with ATF’s increased focus on profiles in the production and financing arena to aid in building a more robust ecosystem for Asian producers and creators.”
