Mediacorp’s award-winning drama All That Glitters is set to reach Netflix on June 1, alongside other titles from the Singaporean company.

All That Glitters follows three friends who dwell in the underbelly of society but try to rise above their circumstances. The move to the streamer follows an agreement inked between Netflix and Mediacorp, part of a content distribution deal that underscores Mediacorp’s aim to work with partners to expand the reach of made-in-Singapore productions.

Four documentaries will also reach Netflix in the month of May, including Slumfood Millionaire, Brothers in Arms, Premium Rush: Inside Air Cargo Singapore and Inside Crime Scene.

This latest deal follows a collaboration to simultaneously debut the Malay crime-drama Operandi Gerhana on Netflix and Mediacorp’s video streaming platform mewatch in September 2023. Prior to that, in April 2022, CNA’s documentary Inside Maximum Security reached Netflix subscribers across 11 territories in Southeast Asia.

Jesslyn Wong, head of content distribution at Mediacorp, said, “We are delighted to work with Netflix once again to showcase some of the best homegrown productions to audiences beyond our shores. This partnership reaffirms Mediacorp’s strengths in delivering quality, engaging storytelling, and we hope that viewers will come to enjoy the thrill and excitement of our dramas as well as the enriching and thought-provoking documentaries.”
