Warner Bros. Elevates Canadian Exec

BURBANK: Mickie Steinmann has been promoted to senior VP and managing director for Canada at Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.

Based in Toronto, Steinmann will continue to oversee sales of the Warner Bros. television series, theatrical motion pictures, animated product and movies for television for different platforms in Canada. He has served as VP and general manager for Canadian operations since 2006, and joined Warner Bros. in 2000 as VP of sales, with oversight of Scandinavia, Benelux, Israel and the Middle East.

Steinmann will continue to report to Jim Brehm, the executive VP of Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
