Veteran Producer Lorraine Richard Forms New Joint Venture

MONTREAL: Canadian producers Ad Lib Films and Zone3 have partnered to create the joint venture Ad Lib +, led by Lorraine Richard.

Richard, founder of Ad Lib Films, will act as president of the new company. She has produced a number of movies and TV shows, including the seven-hour series Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell.

“Over the last 20 years I have produced and co-produced several English-language productions consisting of feature films and mainly drama series for television,” Richard said. “It is a great opportunity to join Zone3, a well-established Quebec company that also has offices in Toronto and New York. This will allow me quality time to devote to the development and production of competitive content for the Anglophone market.”
