Tricon Hires New Head of Scripted Development

TORONTO: Lewin Webb, an experienced film producer, has been appointed as the new head of scripted development for Tricon Films & Television.

In his new role, he will be tasked with expanding the company’s scripted development division.

Throughout his two-decade-long career, Webb has produced and directed many feature films and television movies. He recently produced I Declare War, a critically acclaimed feature that debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival. Other movies produced by Webb include Winged Creatures, Chapter 27, Delirious, and The Deal, to name a few.

"Tricon’s expansion of its scripted division is a natural extension of our growth strategy and we couldn’t be happier to have someone of Lewin’s experience and talent heading up this important new undertaking," said Andrea Gorfolova, the president of Tricon Films & Television.
