Philippe Gagnon On Board Incendo’s Girls’ Night Out

MONTREAL: Principal photography has begun on Incendo’s film Girls’ Night Out, which is being directed by Philippe Gagnon.

Girls’ Night Out tells the story of McKenzie, whose college friends surprise her with a bachelorette party where everything goes wrong. McKenzie is forced to face her ex-boyfriend Brandon, who date-raped her in college. Brandon kidnaps her fiancé in order to get even, and McKenzie and her friends are sent on a deadly scavenger hunt in which she must confront the traumatic events of her past to save her fiancé.

The film stars Mackenzie Mauzy (Into the WoodsManson’s Lost Girls, Forever). Joining Mauzy are Canadian actors Jacob Blair (Aliens in America, The Pinkertons, Dark Rising: Warrior of Worlds), Hannah Anderson (Lizzie Borden Took an Ax, Lost Girl, Backlash), Katherine Barrell (My Ex-Ex, The Scarehouse, Wynonna Earp) and Kelly Kruger (Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland, Mysterious Skin, The Young and the Restless).

The film is produced with the participation of Bell Media. Bureau and Ian Whitehead will produce the film for Incendo, and Bureau will also serve as executive producer.
