New Appointments, Promotions at Peace Point

TORONTO: Peace Point Entertainment has hired former Temple Street Productions exec Nicole Hamilton as VP of creative and development, while Peace Point Rights has upped a couple of executives.

Hamilton will oversee the creative strategic direction for Peace Point globally, including the company’s Toronto-based development team as well as the company’s development activities in Los Angeles and New York. She will also work closely with Peace Point Rights, the company’s international division, to maximize co-production opportunities and harness the global partnerships forged over the last dozen years.

Hamilton most recently worked at Temple Street Productions, where she served as the senior director of factual entertainment.

“Nicole is no stranger to Peace Point as we have produced many award-winning series together over the years,” said Les Tomlin, the company’s president and CEO. “From her days as a production executive on the channels side, we have always enjoyed working with Nicole and recognized her innate ability to develop and create hit television series. It’s a pleasure to welcome Nicole to Peace Point at this exciting time of exponential international growth and I cannot think of a better person to join our senior management team to help cultivate this growth even further.”

Additionally, Peace Point Rights has promoted Julie Cheng to senior VP of business affairs and acquisitions and Eric Mueller to senior VP of international sales and acquisitions.

“Julie and Eric have been instrumental in the success of Peace Point Rights since its inception and I cannot be happier in recognizing their accomplishments,” Tomlin commented. “Their leadership and strategic insight have made Peace Point a highly respected, vertically integrated media company that has financed, produced and sold the highest quality content around the globe.”
