Canada’s THA Hires Former BBC Worldwide Exec

TORONTO: The Canadian producer and distributor Thomas Howe Associates has hired Gwen Jones McCauley, most recently the VP of sales and co-productions at BBC Worldwide’s Toronto office, as its new senior VP of content sales and business development.

This newly created role sees McCauley in charge of sales for the THA catalogue of programming in Canada. She is also tasked with seeking out international TV series to bring to Canadian audiences.

Prior to BBC Worldwide, McCauley held such roles as VP of sales and acquisitions for former children’s producers Skywriter Entertainment and Cookie Jar Entertainment.
