Canada’s shomi Rolling Out The Enfield Haunting on Facebook

TORONTO: Canadian streaming service shomi is slated to debut the first episode of the three-part paranormal thriller The Enfield Haunting on targeted Facebook News Feeds this weekend.

The episode will go up on October 24 and will run for three days, followed by another wave the following weekend to coincide with Halloween. Inspired by the world’s most documented paranormal incident, the miniseries was produced by Eleven and distributed by Entertainment One (eOne).

“We know our shomi audience—and potential audience—is deeply engaged in social media, and when they’re passionate about a great entertainment experience, they want to share it with their friends on Facebook,” said Rita Ferrari, the director of product and brand marketing for shomi. “Showcasing this episode in the buildup to Halloween is not only timely and fun, but it’s a great way to highlight a new title for our existing Facebook friends, expand our reach to attract new members, and partner with Facebook on a first-in-Canada initiative.”
